It was just an ordinary day for Professor Dumbledore. Well as ordinary as any day could be for a wizard and a head teacher of the most prestigious wizarding school in the world. On this particular day Dumbledore was off to the Hogs Head for a drink and to interview Sybil Trelawney for a job at the school.

Everything was going just hunky dory, although he was disappointed with her performance as a seer he had been entertained greatly and enjoyed his afternoon out. But things were soon to get a lot more interesting as Sybil was about to make her first real Prophecy.

“…The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches…he shall lead an army. An army born within these five years and the largest war known to wizards shall commence…”

Well this certainly stirred his interests and with the fear that Sybil might be in more danger outside of Hogwarts he promptly gave her the job.

Severus Snape over heard the Prophecy, he had been sent by the Dark Lord to watch Dumbledores every move. He quickly returned to his master to reveal what he had heard. As the prophecy didn’t give much of a clue as to who would lead this army the Dark Lord decided upon sending his greatest Death Eaters out to destroy those children born to wizarding parents whom he deemed worthy enough to pose a threat to him. Among the list was Lily and James newborn baby Harry Potter. Although Severus cared nothing for the boy or James he couldn’t bare the thought of Lily being hurt and there was a high chance she wouldn’t survive the attack. So the night before the planned attack Severus stole away and warned Dumbledore of what was to happen. Dumbledore managed to warn all the families who were targeted in the attacks and protect Severus from being destroyed by the Death Eaters.

Ministry officials captured many of the Death Eaters and imprisoned them within the walls of Azkaban, were they have remained for fifteen years. The Dark Lord vanished, some say he died others haven’t been as naïve to believe he’d just disappear from the wizarding world…

Harry Potter is now in his 5th year at Hogwarts, he is as ordinary as any other 5th year wizard, however news of a mass break out at Azkaban has caused panic among the wizarding community. Talk that The Dark Lord is rising to power once more is spreading fast. Some believe that he has been raising an army to take over the wizarding world once and for all. Where will he strike first? Will the Prophecy be fulfilled? Will a young wizard stand up and lead an army to defeat the Dark Lord?
